Ioannides Victoras
(1903 - 1984)
He was born in Limassol.
He studied at the Higher School of Fine Arts in Athens. Having
completed his studies, he worked in Athens as a cartoonist for
various Athens newspapers and as an illustrator for the Great
Hellenic Encyclopedia. In 1930 he returned to Cyprus and in 1936,
together with George Fasouliotis, he co-founded “The Atelier” – the
first decorative and advertising workshop in Cyprus. He also worked
as an art teacher in Secondary School. |
