Vasos Demetriou
He studied ceramics at the “Istituto d’Arte per la Ceramica” in Faenza, Italy from 1978 to 1981. He has participated at the International Ceramic Art Exhibition in Faenza, Italy (1981, 1982 and 1986) and the Pan-Hellenic Ceramics Exhibition in Maroussi, Greece (1986), where he won third prize in 1987, first prize in 1990 and second prize in 2000. In 1996 he took part in the Cairo Biennale for Ceramics and has also participated at various exhibitions aboard (Italy, Yugoslavia, Greece, Kuwait, Bulgaria and Australia). He has had four solo exhibitions in Cyprus.
