Susan Vargas Stefani  (1963)
She was born in Bogota, Colombia in 1963. From 1982 to1986 she studied Visual Arts at Agnes Scott College in Atlanta, USA and in Florence, Italy. In 1987 she continued her studied at ''Hochschuie fur angewandte  Kunst'' in Vienna, Austria. Between 1988 and 1989 she studied  Video and Experimental Theatre at Universidad Nacional de Colombia. From 1989 to1990 she completed a postgraduate course at the Cyprus College of Art and since then she has been living in Cyprus. In 1990 she began “Happenings and Installations” with Rinos Stefani. In 1994 she participated at the Pan-Hellenic Symposium of Art at Ammochostos Gate, Nicosia. She was involved  in the Installations “Sphere”, 1998 and “SeaNet”, 2000. In 1999 she represented Cyprus in the Exhibition “Sail Colony” in Samos and Thessaloniki.

She has held eight solo exhibitions and participated  in numerous group exhibitions (Cyprus, Greece, Colombia, USA, etc). She lives and works in Tala, Pafos.
