Marina Zervou was born in Nicosia. She is currently completing her studies at Athens School of Fine Arts, under the supervision of teachers Valavanides and Manousakis.

Through the Abstract Shapes in Oil, Marina reforms and reconstructs a world different to each and everyone, thus adopting with great respect the verse of the late Greek Poet Constantinos Kavafis; ''My greatest desire is to See, than to Say''.
