Maria Tourou
She was born in Famagusta and studied painting, drawing and lithography in London, Italy and USA.

She taught art in schools of Secondary Education in Cyprus, Colombia – WWWA Arts Centers and at Holistic school Of Design Washington DC (where she served as Director) as well as in Smithsonian Institute.

She has lived and exhibited her artwork in several countries in Europe, Mexico, Central and South America and USA. She lived for years in London, five years in Colombia, and sixteen in the U.S. Now she lives and has her workshop in the village of P.Lefkara. Her works are in various public and private collections in Cyprus and abroad. She started exhibition her artwork from her student years  in group and later in solo exhibitions.
