Lefteris Economou
He was born in Frenaros
in 1930 and died in Nicosia in 2007. He studied in succession at the
Saint Martin’s School of Art, Sir John Cass College and Goldsmith’s
School of Art in London. He painted urban and agricultural
landscapes, as well as people of Cyprus, with a chromatic mannerism
resembling mosaic art. He received various honors and was presented
with the Letters and Arts of the Cyprus Republic.
