Hambis Tsaggaris
He was born in Kontea in 1947. He attended printmaking lessons in Athens in 1971 under the tuition of A Tassos. He studied graphic art at the Surikov Art Institute in Moscow (1976 - 82) and at the School of Fine Arts in Florence (1972 - 76). An important aspect of his work is the illustration of literary  publications, especially Cypriot tales. During the last few years he has been living in the village of Platanisteia, of the Limassol district, where he founded a printmaking summer school in memory of A Tassos.
