George Mavroides (1912 - 2003)
A painter with Cypriot origins, he worked as professor and first dean at the Higher School of Fine Arts in Athens. He was born in Piraeus and died in Athens. As a lawyer he was employed by the Greek diplomatic service and as an artist he worked with Yiannis Tsarouhis.
