George Koumouros
He was born in Yialousa, Cyprus in 1955. He studied Mathematics at the University of Athens (1980), Painting at the Pythagorion  Academy of Fine Arts (1989), and earned his Master’s degree in the Production of Educational Documentaries at the Middlesex University (2005). Since 1995 he has been working at the Cyprus Pedagogical Institute. He has directed 20 documentaries for Secondary Schools in Cyprus and Greece. He has held 26 solo exhibition  in Cyprus, Greece, England and Portugal in the art rooms of Apocalypse, Morfi, OPUS 39, Kyklos, Zygos, Antinor, House of Cyprus, the City of Athens Culture Centre, Nafplio Hall of Art, and Museu da Aqua. Since 1982 he maintains a painting studio. His works can be found in public and private collections.
