Aggelos Makrides
Born in Yialousa in 1942. He studied sculpture at the Higher School of Fine Arts in Athens, with professor Thanasis Apartis. He worked in Paris, in Nicosia and Athens and since 1986  lives and works in Cyprus. He represented Cyprus at Venice Biennale, 1988.
